Camille joined Sequoia Legal as an associate in March 2025. She holds an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal and an LL.M. from McGill University, both earned on the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) people. Her academic research examined the ways Indigenous communities construct and revitalize legal traditions, with her thesis focusing on the Mi’kmaw right to fisheries management and environmental co-management.

Called to the Quebec Bar in 2022, Camille later transferred to the Law Society of British Columbia in January 2025. Before joining Sequoia, she served for two years as counsel at the Quebec Court of Appeal, where she supported justices on complex cases in criminal, constitutional, and environmental law. Beyond the courtroom, she has contributed to research, advocacy, and leadership initiatives advancing Indigenous justice and human rights.

Camille now advises Indigenous communities and band councils on governance, natural resource management and co-management, economic development, specific claims, and land use planning.

Outside of her practice, Camille is most often found on a climbing wall, on a ski trail, or devouring Indigenous literature and philosophy. She approaches her legal work and her time outdoors with the same blend of intellectual curiosity and adventurous spirit.
