For the past 25 years Christopher has been a dedicated advocate for First Nations, Métis groups, tribal councils, and Indigenous organizations. From administrative tribunals to the Supreme Court of Canada, he has tackled cases at all levels. Christopher has successfully negotiated landmark settlements addressing historical wrongs, he has assisted in setting up complex corporate structures so communities can take advantage of economic development opportunities, he has helped Indigenous governments take back control of their memberships, their elections processes, and their bylaws. As one of Sequoia Legal’s founding partners, Christopher crafts strategic solutions with unmatched expertise.
Outside of his legal achievements, Christopher and his family stay active by biking, gardening, and even performing circus acrobatics!
