Madison joined Sequoia Legal as an Articled Student in July 2025. She holds a J.D. from the University of Victoria and a B.A. from Thompson Rivers University. In May 2026, upon the completion of her articles, Madison will continue with Sequoia Legal as an associate.

Madison was born and raised in Sorrento, BC, located within Secwepemcúĺecw, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc. She moved to Victoria in 2022 for law school.

As a law student, Madison completed two co-op terms: one at the Ministry of Children and Family Development in the Partnership & Indigenous Engagement Division and another at Together Against Poverty Society (TAPS). These co-op terms allowed Madison to hone her advocacy, client communication, and legal analysis skills.

During law school, Madison focused her studies on human rights, Aboriginal law, and international law. Madison’s major research project analyzed how procedural and systemic delays impact access to justice at the BC Human Rights Tribunal.

Outside the office, Madison enjoys reading, hiking, and relaxing at the beach.
